not be tolerated and all under aged drinking will be reported
Thanksgiving Day we will be open 9:00 Am to 12:00 PM, if you plan to dive, make sure you register prior to noon that day. WE will be closed December 21-25 for Christmas.
We will open on the 26th for your diving pleasure. **If you have dive classes that week and wish to bring them up please make arrangements with us first**.
We now allow you to bring your 4 wheeler and play on 40 acres just north of the spring.
The fee for this is $20.00 per person per day. We still DO NOT allow 4 wheelers in the park but only on the property we have set aside. So bring your 4 wheeler for
the weekend when you camp. There is horseback riding, by appointment only, with miles of trails located just 5 miles south of Vortex Spring.

to aid in managing SCUBA equipment. You learn to dive wearing top
of the line Dive Rite and scubapro dive gear. If you have special needs,
be sure to let us know. We have successfully trained SCUBA students
with major physical challenges as well as serious water fear issues.
Vortex Spring produces 28 million gallons of crystal clear water daily at a year-round
temperature of 68 degrees with no thermocline. It is one of Mother Nature's most extraordinary creations! Vortex
waters flow out to create "Blue Creek," an excellent opportunity for photos while snorkeling &/or canoeing. Blue
Creek flows over one half mile before entering another northern Florida waterway.
Vortex provides drinking water to surrounding communities and has been
used for emergency firefighting needs.
